You can arrive in Kathmandu at any time, and upon your arrival at the airport, a representative from Himalaya Land Treks will be there to greet you and take you to your hotel. There are no scheduled activities for today, so you can relax and settle in at your accommodation. You will be spending the night at the hotel.

You will be visiting several UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the city. These sites are culturally and historically significant, and offer a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of Nepal.

Your first stop will be at the Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. This ancient Buddhist shrine sits atop a hill, and offers stunning panoramic views of the city. The stupa is surrounded by monkeys, hence the name.

Next, you will visit the Pashupatinath Temple, which is one of the most important Hindu temples in the world. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and is situated on the banks of the Bagmati River.

After that, you will visit the Boudhanath Stupa, which is one of the largest stupas in the world. This magnificent structure is a significant pilgrimage site for Buddhists, and is surrounded by many monasteries and shops selling Tibetan souvenirs.

Finally, you will visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square, which was once the seat of the Nepalese royalty. The square is home to many temples, palaces, and courtyards, and is a fascinating place to explore.

Today's itinerary includes a visit to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Patan and Bhaktapur Durbar Squares, as well as exploring the two cities. The Durbar squares are expansive courtyards filled with historic palaces, monuments, statues, and temples, all constructed during Nepal's golden age. In addition to these magnificent structures, both cities are also home to vibrant streets lined with handicraft stalls and vendors selling traditional items.

After a day of exploring, you will be returned to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart from Kathmandu and drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. The journey takes approximately 7-8 hours, covering a distance of around 270 km (168 miles). You will drive on the Tribhuvan Highway, which offers scenic views of lush green forests, hills, and traditional Nepalese villages.

On the way, you will also cross several rivers, including the Trishuli River, which is a popular destination for white-water rafting. You can make a stop for lunch at one of the restaurants or tea houses along the way.

After reaching Lumbini, check-in at your hotel and rest for a while. In the evening, you can visit the Lumbini Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage site that houses the birthplace of Lord Buddha, known as the Maya Devi Temple. The garden also has various monasteries built by different countries in honor of Lord Buddha.

You can also visit the Sacred Garden, which has several other important sites related to Lord Buddha, such as the Ashoka Pillar, the Sacred Pond, and the Myanmar Golden Temple. Enjoy the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the garden before returning to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will start your day by visiting the Mayadevi Temple, one of the most revered sites of Buddhist pilgrimage. The temple marks the birthplace of Lord Buddha and is believed to be the spot where his mother, Queen Maya Devi, gave birth to him. The temple complex includes the Sacred Pond, where Queen Maya Devi is said to have bathed before giving birth, and several other Buddhist shrines.

Near the Mayadevi Temple, you can also visit the palace excavation site, which provides a glimpse into the ancient history of Lumbini. The site is believed to be the remains of a palace built by King Suddhodana, the father of Lord Buddha.

Next, you can visit the Ashoka Pillar, which is located near the Mayadevi Temple. The pillar was erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC and bears an inscription identifying Lumbini as the birthplace of Lord Buddha.

Afterward, you can explore the various monasteries in Lumbini, all of which are built in beautiful architecture. You can ride a traditional rickshaw to visit each of the monasteries, such as the Chinese Monastery, the Japanese Monastery, the Thai Monastery, and many more. Each monastery has its own unique design and cultural significance. In the evening, you will return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Lumbini.

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and drive to Pokhara, a beautiful city located in the western region of Nepal. The journey takes around 5-6 hours, covering a distance of approximately 195 km (121 miles).

You will drive on the Siddhartha Highway, which offers stunning views of the Himalayas, green hills, and rivers. Along the way, you can stop at various viewpoints to take in the scenery and capture some memorable photos.

On reaching Pokhara, check-in at your hotel and rest for a while. In the evening, you can explore the local market and try out some of the local delicacies. You can also take a stroll around the famous Fewa Lake, which is located in the heart of the city and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

After breakfast, you will start your day by visiting the famous Phewa Lake, the second largest lake in Nepal. You can hire a boat and take a ride on the lake to enjoy the serene and peaceful surroundings. You can also visit the Tal Barahi Temple, a small temple situated on an island in the middle of the lake.

Next, you can visit the World Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist stupa located on top of a hill overlooking the Phewa Lake. The stupa offers panoramic views of the Annapurna Range, the Dhaulagiri Range, and the Manaslu Range.

Afterward, you can visit the Seti River Gorge, a natural wonder that has carved its way through the city over thousands of years. The gorge is known for its unique white water and the stark contrast it provides to the lush greenery surrounding it.

Next, you can visit the Bindhyabasini Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Bhagwati. The temple is situated on a small hill and offers beautiful views of the city and the mountains.

In the evening, you can explore the local market and try out some of the local delicacies. You can also visit the Davis Falls, a small waterfall located in the southern part of the city. The waterfall is named after a Swiss couple, who died after being swept away by the falls.

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and drive back to Kathmandu, which takes around 6-7 hours, covering a distance of approximately 200 km (124 miles). You will drive on the Prithvi Highway, which offers scenic views of the countryside and the Trishuli River.

On reaching Kathmandu, check-in at your hotel and rest for a while. In the evening, you will attend a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepalese restaurant, where you will be served with authentic Nepalese cuisine along with cultural performances such as dance and music. This is a great opportunity to interact with your fellow travelers and share your experiences.
