Upon your arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative of Himalaya Land Treks who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. You can arrive at any time of the day, and our representative will be there to welcome you and take you to your accommodation.

Once you have settled into your hotel, you can relax and acclimatize to the altitude. There are no planned activities for the day, so you are free to explore the town of Paro at your leisure. You can visit the local markets, sample the delicious Bhutanese cuisine, or simply take a walk around the charming town.

On this day, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of Paro, which is known for its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. Your guide will take you to several iconic sites, starting with the Rinpung Dzong, a large fortress that houses the district's Monastic Body. You can explore the various temples and courtyards of the Dzong, and learn about its history and significance.

Next, you will visit the National Museum of Bhutan, which is located in a historic watchtower and offers a fascinating insight into the country's rich cultural heritage. You can observe the various exhibits, including traditional costumes, religious artifacts, and ancient weapons.

You will then visit the Jangtsa Dumtseg Lhakhang, a unique temple that is known for its intricate architecture and beautiful frescoes. You can explore the temple and learn about its spiritual significance.

You will also visit the Chimi Lhakhang, a temple dedicated to the Divine Madman, and the Ritsha Village, which offers a glimpse into the traditional way of life in Bhutan.

After the drive, you will arrive back in Paro, where you can continue to explore the city or simply relax at your hotel. In the evening, you will participate in a farewell dinner hosted by Himalaya Land Treks, where you can enjoy delicious Bhutanese cuisine and reflect on the memories of your trip.

You will be departing from Bhutan to return to your home country or to continue your travels. Your guide will arrange for transportation to take you from your hotel to Paro International Airport.

To ensure that you have enough time for the departure formalities, you will be dropped off at the airport three hours prior to your scheduled flight. This will give you ample time to check-in for your flight, go through security and immigration procedures, and make any last-minute purchases at the duty-free shops.

Before leaving Bhutan, make sure to double-check that you have all your belongings and travel documents, including your passport and Bhutanese visa. It's also a good idea to exchange any remaining Bhutanese currency for your home currency, as it may not be readily convertible outside of Bhutan.
