Day11 Hike to Kala Patthar (5,555m/18,225ft) and Trek to Pheriche (4,240m/13,911ft)
Today is a challenging yet rewarding day as we begin with an early morning hike to Kala Patthar, one of the highest viewpoints in the Everest region. We will start our ascent before dawn to catch the sunrise from the summit of Kala Patthar. The hike is steep and rocky, but the incredible views of the Himalayan peaks including Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Pumori make it all worth it.
Once we reach the top of Kala Patthar, we will take some time to soak in the breathtaking scenery and capture some unforgettable photos. After enjoying the views, we will descend back to Gorak Shep for breakfast.
We will then continue our descent to Pheriche, a small village located at an altitude of 4,240m/13,910ft. The trek will take around 5-6 hours and we will pass through the village of Lobuche along the way. Pheriche is known for its beautiful views of Ama Dablam and is a popular stop for trekkers on their way to Everest Base Camp. In Pheriche, we will stay in a comfortable lodge and enjoy a well-deserved rest after the strenuous hike to Kala Patthar.
Day12 Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,443m/11,299ft)
As you leave Pheriche, you will follow the Dudh Koshi river and cross several suspension bridges. Along the way, you will be surrounded by stunning mountain views, including Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kangtega. You will also pass through charming villages such as Pangboche and Tengboche, where you can stop for a rest and visit the famous Tengboche Monastery.
After Tengboche, the trail descends steeply through rhododendron forests before reaching Namche Bazaar. Once in Namche Bazaar, you can take a well-deserved rest and enjoy the many amenities the town has to offer, including bakeries, cafes, and souvenir shops. Overnight stay at a luxury hotel in Namche Bazaar.
Day13 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,850m/9,350ft)
you will start early in the morning from Namche Bazaar, a bustling town that serves as the gateway to the Khumbu region. The trail initially descends steeply through the forested hillside before crossing the Dudh Koshi River at Phakding. You will stop here for a brief rest before continuing the trek towards Lukla.
The trail from Phakding to Lukla is mostly flat and relatively easy compared to previous days. You will pass through several small villages and cross a few suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. The trail also offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, including Kusum Kanguru, Thamserku, and Kongde Ri.
Day14 Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (1,320m/4,330ft), 35 min flight, Farewell Dinner
On the final day of your luxury trekking to Everest Base Camp, you will bid farewell to the stunning Himalayan mountains and return to Kathmandu via a 35-minute scenic flight from Lukla.
After landing in Kathmandu, our representative will transfer you to your hotel where you can freshen up and rest for a while. In the evening, we will host a farewell dinner at one of the finest restaurants in the city, where you can enjoy traditional Nepalese cuisine while reminiscing about your incredible journey to the Everest Base Camp.
During the farewell dinner, you will also have the opportunity to share your experiences with your fellow trekkers and express your gratitude to the trekking staff who accompanied you on the journey. This is also an excellent time to provide any feedback you may have and offer suggestions for improvement.
After dinner, you can spend the remaining time exploring the vibrant city of Kathmandu, shopping for souvenirs, or simply relaxing in your hotel room.
Day15 Departure day
On your departure day, our staff will drop you off at the airport as per your scheduled flight. We hope you had a wonderful time in Nepal and enjoyed your luxury trekking experience to Everest Base Camp. Before you depart, we would love to hear your feedback about the trip.
