    Trip Overview

Embark on a life-changing pilgrimage with Himalaya Land Treks to Mount Kailash, the ultimate adventure for those seeking a sense of mystery and spirituality. This surreal journey, known as the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra, is considered the greatest pilgrimage of them all and is believed to be the home of Lord Shiva by the Hindus and revered by Buddhists as the home of Buddha Chakrasamvara who represents supreme bliss.

As a devout pilgrim, you will join thousands of others in circumambulating the Holy Mountain, a journey that is said to bring good fortune and cleanse the sins of the soul. Your journey begins in the valley where you will spend a day preparing for your visas to China while also touring UNESCO heritage sites in the capital city.

Crossing over to Tibet through the Nepalese border of Kodari, you will reach Nyalam, where you will take a day off to acclimatize to the rising altitudes. Continuing your journey towards Saga, located on the banks of the Yarling Zangbo River, you will head past Paryang and make your way towards Lake Mansarovar, where you will complete all your holy rituals.

Afterward, you will drive to Darchen and begin your Mt. Kailash (6,638m) circumambulation heading to Dira Phug on your first day. Climbing over the Dolma La Pass (5660m), you will make your way towards Dira Phug before descending to Zuthrul Phug Gompa. The final day of the journey takes you back to Darchen, where you will complete your Himalayan adventure.
